Collected our 10 seater van and travelled south to Sossusvlei in the Namibia dessert.
The tar seal ran out within half an hour or so and from there dusty gravel roads.
Quite a lot of the road side was fenced alongside but was difficult to see what was being kept in or out for that matter. Not a lot of food for any major sized animal as was a stony dessert with a few scrubby plants. Did see a few springboks, oryx and the occasional ostrich.
