Sossusvlei Desert Camp
Days 3-4
Sossusvlei - Swakopmund
A 5am start for an early breakfast followed by a trip into Sossusvlei. We hiked up one of the spectacular red sand dunes. Visited a place named Dead Vlei with petrified camel thorn trees.
Had a picnic lunch in the desert. Amazing scenery.

Day 3
The next day we drove to Swakopmund. Long dusty roads, desert scenery, few animals.
Day 4
Today we wandered around Swakopmund looking at shops and markets. Desert was lovely and warm. Much cooler here on the coast. Below are our purchases from the market.
